I became a writer in high school, when I was asked to write a term paper on phobias for a psychology class.
Well, it turns out there are some really funny phobias out there and that's the direction I took the paper.
The teacher didn't even grade it, just wrote the dreaded "see me" on top.
She told me the paper was better suited for a newspaper than a high school class.
So, I submitted it to the newspaper! And guess what? It was published.
That ignited the fire and I embarked on a path to a journalism degree.
After college though I promptly entered radio, then marketing. I kept writing however, and in 2005 published my first book, 'Your Father Forever.'
I recently left the corporate marketing world to focus on my true passions- family and writing.
