I've been writing since I could hold a crayon. It was frustrating to me that my parents were seemingly too incompetent to decipher my written thoughts and stories without my verbal explanation. I found my dearest freedom when I discovered that others have a list of symbols they call letters and words. Having mastered modern hieroglyphics, I am thrilled at the mass-communications potential that lays before me!
I currently manage a Wal-Mart store. In exchange, Wal-Mart pays my debt, but only to a degree which perpetuates our relationship, for lack of a better word. A dysfunctional enmeshment at best, it is my longing for divorce which brings me to this website. I sit on the steps of this battered womens' shelter, hoping for a brighter tomorrow.
My passion is ...
bare feet in the sand and a breeze that carries two parts hydrogen to one part oxygen mixed with sodium chloride! MMmmmmm!
I know too much about ...
people, yet they shock me on a daily basis.
My childhood ambition ...
is to accomplish all things daring and adventurous-I'm still raising myself.
My favorite memory ...
is watching my sons play tag with a crane on the beach: The mischievous bird played by the rules while in "IT" status, but repeatedly winged itself to the roof of a gazebo when it tired of zig-zagging to avoid little finger strokes. My four-year-old turned to me with annoyance and said, pointing upward, "Mom! He keeps cheating!"
Why I write ...
Writing is a characteristic of my personality. I do it for the same reason I find hope in every situation or smile when I see a child. It's part of who I am.
My inspiration ...
Life inspires me. I'm intrigued by the patterns that emerge! If I watch closely enough I can see the moment when the abstract manifests itself in the tangible. Relationships. Behaviors. External events. Patterns are subtle or bold, but prevalent. Life is like mathematics with an emotional element. It compels me to document my findings!
