About me - William Earle

About me

I have been writing creatively for a majority of my life: songs, poetry, short stories, and so on. I especially enjoy writing about nature, as this is a big inspiration of mine. I also enjoy writing critically, be it in book/movie/music reviews, analysis of literary work, etc.

As a middle school English teacher, I have the rare opportunity to share my passion for language with hundreds of students daily. It is a wonderful thing to help a young person appreciate how to read and write. In addition to teaching in the public school setting, I also teach creative writing classes during the summer at the local arts council.

I have never tried to publish my work before, but I figured now was the time to share my work with others. I would love to do freelance work, especially during the summer months when I have so much extra time to write. If you would like to give a dedicated writer a shot, please contact me.

It is my belief that an educator is more of a facilitator to student learning than anything; however, it is necessary for the teacher to be respected and to have authority before any true learning can take place. Although I feel that educators sometimes excessively reward students for behavior that should alre...
