About me

Hi! I'm Bonnie Stukenholtz-Brown. I am in my mid-40's, live in NE Colorado, and CEO two companies.

The first is 360 Innovative Solutions, LLC. We are a global, multi-service, human resource and business development firm. Our goal is to help clients build effective organizations and gain competitive advantage through wisely choosing and effectively developing their most valuable asset - people.

The second is Colorado Signet, a brand new company whose focus is to provide affordable, effective business solutions to companies that cannot afford (time or resources) to provide for themselves. We offer digital printing, domain and web solutions, software and hardware IT support, data management & recovery, promotion & marketing, E-learning, and much more. What began as a business development team focused on finding a solution to the lack of B2B services in our community, which has led to a stagnation in economic development, has turned into a Community Business Services Center that offers just about anything a small business or sole proprietor could ever need.

I have been in school, it seems, most of my life. I attained two associate degrees in the early 80's (music performance and music production focused) from Clark College in Vancouver, WA, and continued on to the University of Utah for a Bachelor's of Science in Political Science (state and local politics focus). I entered Law School there but life threw me a curve ball that necessitated my rethinking that life goal. Seventeen years later, however, with my children grown and an unbelievably supportive husband, I am pursuing my Master's in Business Communication (leadership and influence focus). God willing, I should be done in a year.

My life has always been my children, (four boys and two dogs) and my husband. I am blessed now to be able to pursue my dream-career as well. I love what I do, and I have been told I am very good at it. It keeps me learning every day, and I write to keep the knowledge alive and circulating. That's what the Knowledge Economy is all about, yes?

Business > Human Resources Book recommendations on team building

There are many books (I include formally-published research as well) being written today about the importance of teams in today's workforce. Assessing team dysfunction and developing solutions for "stuck" teams is something I do, so naturally read up on the subject... a lot! That said, not all the books (and articles) written about teams are worth the read. There are several, however, that I have not only read, but find myself returning to time and again for a little "refresher" course. These books that have stood the test of time are the focus of this article. The Discipline of Teams Jon ...
