About me

Hi Helium ,
Can Helium get you high ? Of course literally or figuratively this is an opportunity to write uplifting idea's ,in this case a brief introductory bio. My name is Jim Hennigan, age 56, a furniture salesman for an eighty store east coast company where I've worked the past 13 years. It's a great gig where one gets to dress up in nice clothes and receive a stipend for running one's mouth expounding the feature and benefits of a variety of upholstery and case goods.I've always worked in retail for the public. At 24 I went through 3 states advancing to Area Mgr. of a Dept store chain. Then I ran a convenient store for 5 years. Spent 6 years selling plumbing and heating supplies for two different supply houses. Then furniture,my favorite, with a private owner, twice, to winning a cruise for myself and daughter with the now defunct JC Penney Portfolio. Raymour and Flanigan Furniture and we're current.
The people you meet are fascinating and helping them reach their needs and home design looks can be rewarding as well as entertaining to the inner spirit. I enjoy writing poetry immensely and try to curb the amount of ly adverbs with fresh intuitive descriptions of everything from mankind's plight to nature's ambivalence.
The past few years I've been challenged by bad knee's,
an arthritic hip, and a shocking diagnosis of Hepatitis C
which has changed my life from an Irish hedonist to one 7 years alcohol abstinent seeing details quite sober.
I hope to share in many humorous, witty exchanges with new friends and perhaps demonstrate how my challenges have been met suggesting determination and encouragement overcoming odds like a terminal disease with no known cure and still remain not only sane but full of a zest for life and a adventure unfolding the secrets of eternity. I'll sign off with that and look forward to communication and a growing intelligence with those interested reading creative scripture.
Your's true-LY ,
Jim Hennigan
