: About Me

I am a high school senior with a dream of writing that goes back to elementary school. Although my career goals have changed as I grew older, I now would like to major in journalism. Not broadcast journalism as I tend to get pretty camera shy, but more like writing for a newspaper, online, etc. I also have written poetry and entered a few in contests. Besides writing, I also am an animal lover.. maybe not to the point of being a vegetarian, but sometimes I'd rather talk to my cats rather than to another person. I have just started to get into cooking too, although I am not exactly the greatest at this point. My other interests include movies, online activities of course, shopping to a certain degree, photography, and nature in general.

By joining this community, I intend to practice and improve my writing skills and get different ideas from other writers. I hope this helps me get more into the writing world and helps me greatly with my career goal.
