Pierre Khazen who was born in Haifa, Israel, revealed passion to music since an early age. He started playing the piano at the age of 7 at a conservatiore and composing at the age of 12. In those years where he spent his musical education at the conservatiore till the age of 17, he played mainly pieces of composers from the romantic period such Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Schumann, but from the classical peroid, dominantly Beethoven, Mozart and Haydn; Debussy and Grieg from the post-romantic period while Rachmaninov from the 20th century peroid and Bach from the Baroque period. At that time, his love was to play pieces of composers from the romantic period, prominently by Chopin that will in a later stage of his life to influence compositions that he would write such 'Romance' which forms a perfect example to the stated above. (To listen to his music, please refer to his official website at: www.pierrekhazen.com).
After he had finished high school, and following that, his musical studies at the conservatiore, he began his legal studies at Haifa University; when he graduated from the University and was rewarded the LL.B. degree, he started working at law firms for three years. But at the end of the third year, he moved to London to study music after applying to several Universities among them Goldsmith College University of London, Brunel University and Kingston University where he was given unconditional offers; he chose then to study music at Kingston University where he acquired musical qualifications. Following that, he pursued professional recordings to his music at Resident Studios in North London.
When he returns back from the UK in 2005, he begins working in legal/musical fields, at the same time, he resumed Psychological studies at the Open University (for its flexible policy which would match his work obligations). Nowadays, he is doing new recordings to a new album.
