Why does every website that you join have this question ?
Well i'm 30 years old. I have been married for a little over a year now. I have a wonderful husband that supports everything that I do. To top it off, I have the most awesome son in this world. He is twelve years old. Eight years ago he was diagnosed with a brain stem glioma, and was only given three-six months to live. Well as of today he is still here. A lot of my writing and inspiration comes from my son. So I will always thank him for pushing me like he does.

Mainstreaming Special Needs Children: Understanding the debate I am a parent of a twelve your old boy who is deaf. He attended a public school deaf program. The school that he attended was a total hearing school. There was a couple of kindergartner's that went to this school that had cochlear implants, but did not use any sign language like my son did. Austin started a preschool program at this school that was designed for the hard of hearing deaf children. The special education director hired a deaf teacher just for this class.
