About me - Marina Shemesh

About me

My name is Marina Shemesh and I love everything to do with books. I love reading them, reading about them, touching them and even smelling them. Only the new ones though!

I saw an opportunity here at Helium to finally see if I really do have it what it takes to be a writer. For so long have I dreamt about writing and now I am doing something about it.

Since writing for Helium one of my articles was printed in an Israeli magazine. I also got accepted to a technical and marcom writing course . Recently I became the very proud owner of a professional editing diploma. Now I am a writer and an editor!

My interests are books (of course), Pilates and jogging. I enjoy writing about life in Israel and South Africa and as a mother of young children I consider myself a expert-in-training in parenting.

My other interests are cooking and fitness.
