Melanie Grimes, CCH, is an award-winning screenwriter, medical editor and natural health columnist. She also writes articles and blogs for real estate agents.
Her essays have been published by Penguin Putnam and she has written college textbooks, and published biographies. She runs the imprint, Alethea Book Company, to publish books on complementary medicine. Currently, Grimes edits Simillimum, the Journal of the Homeopathic Association of Naturopathic Physicians.
Melanie Grimes is the author of the biography, Dr, John Bastyr: Philosophy and Practice, and numerous other books on homeopathy. She also edited Dynamis Provings (Sherr), and The Dynamics and Methodology of Provings, second edition.
Melanie teaches at Bastyr University, The Seattle School of Homeopathy and created the first online interactive course in homeopathy, "Homeotalk" (www.homeotalk.com). She is on the research board of the American Medical College of Homeopathy and lectures internationally. She is published in homeopathic journals worldwide.

Melanie raises alpacas at Prima Bella Alpaca Ranch. She rows crew, knits and spins wool, and has won numerous blue ribbons for her handspun.
