Enthusiastic writer interested in prose fiction and non-fiction on unusual topics.

Soon to graduate (hopefully) with a BA in English Literature.

I have travelled in Australia, New Zealand, Bolivia and Chile, and am planning a bike ride across Africa.

My previous occupations include:
* litter picking (where my heart still truly lies)
* piloting a chain ferry (notable for being much less interesting than it sounds)
* working on a duck farm (I still hear the quacking at night)
* and on a vegetable farm in Australia (my favourite)
* apple-picking in New Zealand (the hardest buck I've ever earned)
* and delivery driving (which went great until the crash).

For the Lost. They each asked who I was, the people I met on the road: the goatherd I stopped to chew a mouthful of coca leaves with; the old woman bent behind a barrow full of fruit and trudging to market in the next village; and the three children who took the morning's seven mile walk to school together on this mud-ruptured track that crept serpentine between the desolate Bolivian mountains.
