Chris Pearce is an editor, researcher and writer from Brisbane, Australia. He works full-time in this capacity for the Queensland Government. He is also a consultant editor to the government, council, education and private sectors. His background includes economics, statistics, management, marketing, market research, accounting and history.
He has written a non-fiction book, "Through the Eyes of Thomas Pamphlett: Convict and Castaway", Boolarong Publications, about the life and times of an early Australian convict.
He is seeking a literary agent and publisher for his historical novel, "A Weaver's Web", set in early 19th century Manchester, UK. A poor handloom weaver makes his fortune when he sets up a cotton factory, but his problems have only just begun.
Chris's qualifications include a Bachelor of Economics with Honours, a Master of Business Administration, a Graduate Management Certificate in Writing, Editing and Publishing, and a Diploma of the Writing School.
He has been a keen tenpin bowler for several decades, mainly in open grade, and currently bowls in one league a week.
