It's all about me, me, me, me.....
Professionally, I have been a waitress, a secretary, a bookkeeper, a teacher, a bartender, a maid, a security guard, and now proudly, a writer.
Personally, I have been a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a wife, an ex-wife, a follower, a leader, a sucker, but proudly still a believer.
I have done things I am proud of and I have done things I regret. I am educated, but I am not smart. I am intelligent, but I am not wise. I am financially poor, but spiritually rich.
So enough about me, let's talk about you, you, you....
My passion is ...
my man, John.
I know too much about ...
nothing.
My parents always told me ...
to never lie.
My childhood ambition ...
to get married and have two children.
My favorite memory ...
forgetting past mistakes.
Why I write ...
to allow the voices in my heart out.
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
TCM Classic Movies.
My first job ...
was to make hospital corners while making the bed.
Live and let live. What a heavenly concept! Perhaps it even is Heaven. But it is not possible here on Earth. It is not possible for 301,621,157 people to mind their own business. Yet, I am not sure that this is really a bad thing. Obviously, each of us wants to live our own lives as we choose to do, but there have been many situations in my life in which I was grateful someone did not "let live". For instance, in 2005, I was left stranded in the Greyhound Bus depot, in Las Vegas, with not a dime in my pocket. But a good soul, who noticed me sitting on a bench and crying, did not "let live"...
