As a teacher of computing to adults I find that overwhelming majority of my students are seniors. Why do they come and what benefits do they hope to gain?

Just knowing the absolute basics of computing makes an older person feel that they have some idea of what everyone else is talking about. Once they've used a mouse and turned on a computer, suddenly all the computer speak that their grandchildren use without thinking twice starts to make sense.
