I was born in Scotland, moved here in 1969, grew up in Toronto and now I live in Kitchener, Ontario.

I have always wanted to write and find if I don't I'm rather miserable. I've written for many online sites; some still exist, some have gone with the wind. I used to belong to Webseed and had two websites with them. After Webseed, I tried to keep my two websites going but eventually got tired of paying for them. I wrote for Suite 101 a few years ago; I enjoyed the writing practice and the community. I was thrilled that the first article I wrote for the Helium Marketplace was bought by a publisher.

Lately, I've been concentrating on blogs. I have 2 of them at Blogger and 2 at Orble. I also occasionally post a "hub" at Hubpages. I also write regularly for the website How To Do Things.

I have a diploma in Library Techniques. I'm working for a book wholesaler who provides books for various public libraries. I'm single and live with an ocicat.
