Penn Monroe is a happily married lady living in the Lake Cumberland, Kentucky area near North Central Tennessee. She is a writer who has been writing poetry and stories since the age of seven, and she is a realtor. Penn posts poetry and short stories on www.fanstory.com where she is currently ranked as the #4 poet and is the #37 ranked reviewer. Her screen name on FS is Kentucky Sweet Pea. She is looking forward to improving her writing and reviewing skills on the Helium website, as well as meeting other writers. She is looking for possible free-lance jobs to further spread her wings and fly.
Prior to moving to the Lake Cumberland area last year, she sold real estate in her hometown of Richmond, Kentucky and was an insurance agent for both AFLAC and Prudential. She facilitated workshops for the Thoroughbred Region with AFLAC, has a Business degree and is an avid gardener, Karaoke singer, and is, of course, an avid writer. She was greatly influenced early on by poet and author Rod McKuen.

Spiritual-God, nature and beautiful people. I am inspired to write about the wrongs of the world, too. i.e. Politics, injustices, and other issues, too many to list.
