As a journalist, my goal is to create a shift in the delivery of online government media, and encourage people to insist on quality media which allows them to make their own decisions, and feel good about them.

People love to learn! I find ordinary readers appreciate information that is educational, intelligent, unbiased and accurate.

I accomplish this with what I call "hard media", which consists of statistics, government reports, voting records and direct testimony.

This lends credibility to my work, and has contributed to my success as a popular underground Political Journalist.

The second technique I use, is called "reprinting".

I love "posting" quality articles written by industry leaders, government reports and other investigative reporters. Most people would rather have a few views on one subject from specialists on that topic, rather than JUST my humble opinion.

I find reprinting really gives readers a much more in depth perspective of whatever topic I am writing about, instead of just shifting from one news topic to another in order to "make news".

I enjoy writing, and cover state and federal government on issues such as Social Security, Medicaid, TANF, Child care Policy, Immigration, Education, Health Care, and other topics.

I live in California, and love walking,reading books on economics, the middle east, and am fascinated by medieval history.

I have many contacts in both business, government and advocacy, and have four legislative drafts in the House of Representatives Immigration Reform Caucus, and two pending.

Writing and passing workable legislation, is a herculean task requiring inordinate amounts of time, interaction with local communities to gather public insight and opinion and specialized knowledge. It has become a familiar sight to read through a bill, and find that the needs of special interests are behind the policy, while the politician hasn't really considered the overall effect their proposed bill will have on spending in the overall scheme of things.
