Me personally, I have a loving wife. And a recently turned two year old son. These two make every step of my journey worth taking. and are number one I'm my heart. The other member of my family is my DOG/human companion Gus. Gus is a Staffordshire bull terrier, and he is truly a character. I love my whole family deeply. The only thing that makes me feel even close to this love is my writing. But it doesn't even compare.

I have a great affinity to our furry four legged friends. Mainly dogs. I have been around them my entire life and owned several different breeds. Through my mother, who is a former vet tech, and currently a groomer. I have had the opportunity to meet with breeders, and be around dog shows, etc. I did, at one point in time, run a rescue program for abused and neglected dogs. In an attempt to take the animal from the abusive home, rehabilitate them, and eventually put them into a loving home. During this program my home was basically a shelter. So at one point and time we had about 13 dogs in my house. 5 of them are still here and have very much become a part of our family.

*APPEARANCE*
The rottweiler is a medium large, robust and powerful dog. The black color with rust spots is universal for all of this breed. They possess great strength, agility, and endurance. The male rottweiler is generally larger than the female. The male stands 24 to 27 inches at the shoulders. While the female stands 22 to 25 inches at the shoulder. The weights of these dogs vary, but in most cases will be proportional to the size of the animal. Ultimately they will have a very powerful appearance. The have straight, coarse hair, that is medium in length.
