About me - Debbie Lester

About me

I am a freelance writer from Kentucky. Writing has been a passion of mine for many years and I have taken it to the next level by making it my career. I am a former daycare owner and director, and teacher. I have experience and interests in many areas.

I'm a single mother of two, with a dog and a house in the country. I try to write about the things I know about. A writer who can write from their heart, makes a deeper impression. That's what writing is all about, giving information that people need, in a way that not only educates, but entertains and enlightens.

I am currently pursuing a Journalism degree as, I believe that writers should be as informed and as versatile as they can be. I have some editorial experience which has benefited me in writing for the web and print media.

I hope to have a long and sucessful writing career.
