I am currently employed as a social worker at a treatment center for abused children. I love my work and hope that, by the grace of God, I can make a difference in the lives of those children. It's hard work, but the few rewards far outweigh the many challenges.
I am also a young wife and mother. Now that I have graduated from college, my husband is attending school full-time. His goal is to be accepted into the nursing program. I know he can accomplish anything he puts his mind to, and I'm very proud of him. Our lives are hectic, but our two year old daughter blesses us with laughter and joy (and some sleepless nights, but I won't mention those). One day, circumstances allowing, I would like to stay home as a full-time mother.
In my spare time (hah, I wish!), I enjoy all things creative. I adore music, singing, dancing, drawing, writing, scrap booking . . . you name it. If I haven't tried it, I'd love to. If I'm no good at it, I appreciate the talents of others. Life would be as boring and bland as oatmeal without the spark of creativity.
