I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. I now reside in Ballwin, Missouri, which is a suburb of St. Louis.

In 1988, just newly divorced with two small children, I decided to enroll in college and fulfill a dream: To become independent. I did just that and graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) summa cum laude in 1994.

Now my passion is to help and inspire sick people that they, too, can be well again.

My first book is entitled The Messenger and I write under the pen name Linda Emmanuel.
