I used to write poetry as a child and loved English at school. As I grew older I played guitar and wrote songs and used to throw my ideas in notebooks and write long letters to people, usually without sending them.
I took up writing poetry again around five years ago in Allpoetry and was asked to teach it. I've had two poems published in books; one of them being the first Allpoetry book, and am waiting for three more to added to their number in various books.
I'm studying for a Bachelor of Arts Degree and one of my essays is published in the Religious Tolerance website.
I have a Diploma in Herbalism and herbs are a major part of my life. I treat health conditions with them and my cooking is not complete without them. I'm working on the Advanced Herbalism course. I just recieved a Counselling Diploma with distinction, which I'm pleased about.
Apart from writing and studying I love to ride my motorbike, listen to music (mainly metal), go for walks in the countryside and develop my spirituality.
In future I plan to do some gardening, improve my health with herbs, write a fantasy novel and ride my motorbike some more.

Her face is the same on the surface as when she was a young woman, in that it's the same shape and colour and still has long dark hair, and yet looking deeper it shows signs of aging and of suffering. Her struggles have been mine and yet the eyes that show a certain steeliness, composure and strength are new to me. The expression of fear and dread that was reflected in the mirror and was my companion for many long years seems to have faded out of existence, though it surfaces occasionally still. Memories flicker behind...
