Wow! The hard work is all worth it. My husband and I have been gardening for 31 years. Alot through trial and error. Also alot of listening to the good old folks from earlier generations. Learn to listen to the "ole timers" they have alot of wisdom. We first started out the traditional way of planting in rows on flat ground. This is a no no. We have found that planting in ridges and furrows is the utmost best. For starter you only have to set this type of planting once. Yes that is right, once.
