In the last eight years, I have been developing a desire to write on issues that either affect me or others close to me on a daily basis. I have felt that by attending community development organizations, promoting or raising awareness around domestic violence, gender-based issues or even political and ethnic issues will fire a passion to change the world in which we live in. I actually ran in the last local elections in the West of Ireland to try and achieve this desire. I have decided that I may be able to affect the world we live in by doing something positive as well as directly by helping to increase the awareness surrounding our Environment. Having joined the Green party in Ireland and Canada, I hope to make a positive impact.
