About me

Hello Everyone!
I am a college student who has a fascinating love for writing. I have been writing gut-wrenching pieces since I was very young and in Elementary school. I have written such capturing volumes as "The Halloween Santa", "My Puppy", and "Skippy Squirrell and Hoppy Jumpy Kangaroo".
Even though these are fantastic reads with at LEAST 5 pages of 'sheer genius' literature and original drawings, I've decided to expand my writing to other areas. These are include but are not limited to: Subtle Poetry, Not-So-Subtle Poetry, Short Stories, Stories You Wish Were Shorter, possible Biographies (as in, I suppose it's possible Henry VIII COULD have actually been on the bowling league), and other Jibber-Jabber (NOT to be confused with Jabberwocky; that would be plagerism. Come ON people...) that makes you think...though I would be happy with a laugh... or even a little smile. You know, it takes fewer muscles to smile... and when you think really hard you get that line in your forehead...
But anyway!
I hope you enjoy my writing and I'm so glad to be part of this wonderful community of artsy, not-artsy, slightly insane, somewhat troubled, a pinch perplexed, knowingly knowledgable, and possibly giddy group of people.
Until then,
I bid Thee Adieu!
J.S.

Briefly me

My passion is ...

Life...(and chocolate, wine, family, dogs, music, theater, anything artsy, and a few other things that I'm sure I'm passionate about)

I know too much about ...

Solving other people's problems.

My parents always told me ...

Clean your room! And that I can be anything I want to be... so where's my crown people?? Hello??

My childhood ambition ...

To be a singer, dancer, on Broadway, a Vet., famous, married to Prince William, a wonderful person (check), and possibly Queen of the World; though England will do.

My favorite memory ...

I can't remember... but my other favorites are from when I was a little girl and lived in Germany.

Why I write ...

Because it's fantastic!! Why DON'T you write? You should....

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

"Ello Ello" on the BBC, this screen, the air conditioner. (it's very loud... the screen... not the air conditioner. Though it could use a silencer as well.)

My first job ...

Annoying my siblings. Though I didn't get paid money, hearing my older sister scream "MOOOM! SHE'S IN MY ROOM!" is payment enough.

My best moment ...

Why every moment is my best moment. I learned many a good skill from Mary Poppins.

My inspiration ...

Everything! But mostly my Mother, God (thanks for the gifts), my family, friends, and experiences, and some other things that are inspiring.

"A person is a person, no matter how small!" Thrilling!...to say the least. I went into Horton Hears A Who expecting a somewhat entertaining, possibly funny, most likely likable film. I came out continuously repeating "aaaahhhhh" as does the little yellow puff of animal, Katie, in Horton's class. This is a classic story and much like everything else of Dr. Seuss', is expertly written for people of all ages. I personally enjoyed Cat In The Hat, but thought this was a MUCH better movie, through and through. Having seen the musical version of this story on stage, I should have expected nothin...
