As I lie here, unable to sleep
I know that my soul continues to weep
Memories of dried tears, of flowers and musk
Linger forever, floating through dusk

A madman's mind, I feel mine is so
Can I ever truly let you go?
Forever I weep, these tears of sorrow
Perhaps it will be over, maybe tomorrow

How does one patch such holes in a heart
Knowing that forever you'll be apart?
One cannot, I fear and I know
Love's bonds never truly break, it's so.

So, I'll lie in my bed, tonight as every other
Cold winds dry my tears as I slumber
Forever it seems I'm found to be
Waiting for him...
