I currently am living, and enrolled at Liberty University in Lynchburg VA, but i am originally from Poughkeepsie, New York. I thoroughly enjoy writing and reading and am so happy to have found Helium! I am a Journalism major, and hope to get a job with a newspaper, magazine, or maybe even become a full time author someday. I do enjoy being a student, and my hobbies include playing guitar, hanging out, pool and poker. Right now, my favorite author is Steven King.

Why do we call people who dress dark and gaunt Goths? What do the way these people dress have to do with the Germanic tribes that inhabited East Germany in the third century? The answer has actually little to do with the Goths themselves but everything to do with their architecture. During the late medieval period, eloping from French architects, cathedrals and churches with extremely sophisticated designs of ridges and pointed arches were erected.
