I am an English as a Second Language teacher, writer, belly dancer and historian.
I spent one year in Seoul, South Korea and will be headed back for another one soon. After that, we're spending a month in the Philippines to relax and then we're headed off for another exotic destination. The current favorite is Morocco.
When I'm not teaching my beloved rugrats phonics, I like to read and write fiction, especially romance. I also enjoy reading nonfiction, particularly Medieval, Crusades and Holocaust history and virology. I took 2 years of belly dance lessons from a professional dancer and am known to break into a shimmy for no reason. I would do zydeco and Cajun dance more often, but to you have any idea how hard it is to find a Cajun dance party in Seoul?
Occasionally, I am known to poop out on the couch and watch tv, but I'm usually doing something else at the same time. If I didn't have to live out of suitcases I would probably also be pursuing my interests in sewing, costume design, crafting and baking.
I am a writer and teacher by avocation. Every class i have ever taken, I've ended up being the person people come to when they don't understand what the teacher is talking about. I'm also known to end up in the back of the room with the classmate that just isn't getting it, tutoring. I have been writing for several years at www.epinions.com under the name Darkmistress.

The magic number is three. I was talking to my mother the other day and discovered that she had independently come to the same conclusion as I had. So had my brother. And so had my friend, the doctor's wife. In fact a general survey of my friends revealed they felt three cards for different situations was best. Now, my mother is 65 and freshly retired. She doesn't travel much and spends most of her time hanging out at home reading books from the library. Occasionally, she substitute teaches for something to do. My brother is 45 and drives a truck earning around $90,000 a year. With no fami...
