About me - Richard Griffin

About me

Adventure is the spark that ignites my life and gets me up in the morning. To explore and discover knowledge of life is my purpose for living. I was born in Phoenix, Arizona and grew up at the beaches of Southern California. One can't help but have a lust for adventure when looking out over the vast Pacific Ocean. The wonder of what's on the other side drives me to go to sea to this day. I have my own sailboat and I'm acquiring the skills to do such a crossing. What I learn along the way will be further inspiration for my writing.

I have had many wild adventures already and gained knowledge from them. I have been a surfer, punk rocker, fundamentalist Christian, jeweler, soldier in the US Army, paramedic on a helicopter, a father and a husband. I have a university education and a lot more life experience. Even with all this background I haven't scratched the surface of what I would like to know before I finish my time on this planet. I hope to share what I learn with others and try to leave this world a better place for having existed here.

Many who have not tried marijuana make judgments on this innocent, naturally occurring plant. Many claim it is immoral to use this helpful herb. The morality usually comes from the right wing God fearing folk. Didn't God create all plants? For what purpose would God create an evil plant? No, this plant is not evil or immoral; it was a politic...
