What can I say? I love to write. That's why I'm here and over at Fictionpress. It helps me from going insane and imploding from my own sarcasm. While I love writing articles and giving opinions, writing fiction is my true love. I have so many stories in the works that I'm running out of space to store them. Oddly enough, I've written more romance than anything, which is strange.
I've never been a girl absorbed in Harlequin novels or sitting in the theater crying over the latest romantic comedy. I am a horror/thriller fan at heart. I grew up reading Stephen King and Dean Koontz since I was nine years old. James Patterson has been the latest author to capture my attention with his Alex Cross novels.
I live in Southern California. I'm female. I'm in my twenties. I'm the oldest of four children. I'm a recovering shopaholic. That's pretty much the only autobiographical info I'm willing to give at this point. No use in listing all of my stats just yet. I'm not really interested in being an open book. I'd rather have my writing judged than my marital status or level of education.
If you feel like reading any of my ventures into the land of make believe, be my guest. The link is below. Enjoy and applaud or hate and criticize. It's up to you.

Are first impressions everything in this hectic world? Should you be concerned about your appearance? Does the way you project yourself physically affect how others perceive you? Unfortunately, the answer to all these questions is yes.
The human species, while complex on certain levels, is relatively simple when it comes to visual stimulation. We are naturally attracted to what is pleasing to the eye. We also tend to have a greater opinion of someone who presents his/herself as stylish and "put together" than we do for someone who dresses sloppily or makes no effort to look better.
