Mostly with creative writing flowing from my thoughts, I connect with sensual, real feelings in poetic forms. I write with a non structured vision of the end result and take pride in the flaws that appear after a critique only to make my writing a better depiction of beauty next go-a-round. Although creative writing, mainly poetry, is my strong point I have written newspaper articles varying from informational, sport journalism and general reporting under the name Ashly Rice. Besides writing, I enjoy grasping knowledge in a hands on approach kind of way and love my career in the Army.

Curiosity didn't kill me, it led me to acting class.

Within minutes of entering the room my heart began to race. This was not an uncommon feeling. I often felt this way in new situations and being here at the Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) acting class wasn't any different.
My friends describe me as outgoing and charismatic, but if they only knew it is partly a front. I often cover up my fears in sheer hope it goes undetected by the human eye, especially in new situations. However, the people in this room, at this class, were nowhere near human, they were thespians.
