SAY A PRAYER FOR HER She gets off the bus, a thin, tall woman - perhaps in her 60s or 70s - it's hard to tell. She has trouble descending the steps; her legs are weak; and she stumbles a bit as her foot hits the pavement. But no kindly arm is there to help her down the steps of the bus. She is unsteady as she ambles slowly down the sidewalk, measuring each step to make sure her footing is steadfast before the next is taken.
