Humanism is a religion. It is part of a new breed of religion that is reality based. Unlike Atheism which is not a religion Humanists attempt to answer the great questions about right and wrong and how we should form societies without relying on ancient holy texts or supernatural beings. Humanists do indeed have churches. There is a Humanist group in Palo Alto that meets every Sunday morning. People gather to listen to various speakers who speak on a variety of subjects.
