I live in the semi desert area of the West Coast of the Western Cape province of the Republic of South Africa. I used to live in Cape Town, but after the death of my two children I decided to move to a quiet and safer area.

Reading (non fiction) is my favorite pastime and I try to acquire as much knowledge as possible about as wide a variety of subjects as possible. I like classical music, but also enjoy country music and traditional Afrikaans(South African) music.
