My name is Annette Smith. I am an inspiring writer who has been published in four different poetry books. I am always thinking out side the box. My friends say I have a tendency to over analize problems, But with writing I can be anything I want to be. I have a collection of probably 200+ poems all originals, and when I stumbled across this website I finally felt they all could be more appreciated here than on the floor in my house.

Why I write ...

Because I have the tendency to not say what I really mean. But with writing I can express my self and feelings the way I meant them to be said. Its my crime of passion.

My mother, She wrote alot of poetry in her day, and she lived a tough life only to provide everything that she never had. I hope I am as strong as her.
