Call me "J.T." My dad always did. I'm not totally sure why.
I'm a student, a researcher, an ex-babysitter and a twenty something.
I enjoy writing even when writing doesn't enjoy me. I had the time of my life participating in my first Nanowrimo last November. I got to my 50k word goal, got engaged to my significant other of six years and did the happy dance all month. Even though I still don't know what I'm going to do with my "novel," I would like to encourage everyone to take part in experiences like Nanowrimo that push us towards our limits as thinking, feeling human beings.
Topics that interest me include common sense, personal finance and natural living. I love absurdity of life and all of the silly things we are attracted to as human beings. I hope that comes through in my writing.
Enjoy.
My parents always told me ...
only take the good
Why I write ...
because I want something of me to endure, even it it is my own absurdity.
My first job ...
selling Girl Scout Cookies in front of a bank
My inspiration ...
the strange, but simple life I live
