I'm an artist, a writer, an entrepreneur, a mother and a wife. I am also an avid reader and an aspiring chef.
I live in a beautiful small town in North Dakota and spend my time playing with my kids, gardening, working on my online shop and writing.
I love my life and try to live each moment to the fullest, remembering that our time here may be limited to a certain amount of days and years, the number of which I'm not privy, but we're never limited in what we can do with the time we're allotted.
As I get older, I've realized I've become either more opinionated or more willing to share those opinions; either way, I'm an outspoken sort of gal and you'll see that in some of my writing here on Helium. Regardless of that, I tend to be very open minded when it comes to conflicting opinions and have even been known to keep my mouth shut once in awhile when contradicted! Amazing, eh?
I've enjoyed my experience here very much so far and am looking forward to many years of using Helium as a wonderful writing outlet.

When I was a child and a young teen, I didn't even think about the environment. I was guilty of tossing a candy bar wrapper or twelve in the gutter and spraying my 80's and early 90's 'do with tons of aerosol hairspray. One of our greatest joys back then was cruising around town, driving aimlessly with the radio cranked, to celebrate our youth (and the fact that one of us had a brand new driver's license!). Way back then we ate fast food out of Styrofoam containers, tossed out paper and plastic with the regular garbage and had the TV, radio and every light in the room on all at once, just ...
