: About Me

Hello! My name is James Pate. My interests are religion, politics, and entertainment. I have a B.A. from DePauw University, an M.Div. from Harvard Divinity School, and an M.A. from Jewish Theological Seminary of America. Right now, I am in a doctoral program at Hebrew Union College in Cincinnati, studying the History of Biblical Interpretation.  I joined Helium to become a better writer, and hopefully to make some money. So I'm looking forward to reading and writing on this site. It looks so big right now, but there's a lot of thoughtful work from what I can see.
