Hi! I'm a 41 years old and currently reside in St. Louis, MO. I am a mother and a grandmother. I grew up in small town in Northern Illinois; went to college in Iowa; and am currently in law school.
I have no formal training or experience with writing other than a fantastic high school English teacher, thank you Mr. Harmston. I write from my experiences and my heart. My current poetry works seems to be a reflection of the relationship I am now ending. This relationship has been one saturated with dishonesty, manipulation and infidelity from the very start and has consumed the last 10 years of my life. I believe it is said nearly every poet has a "dark" period and this truly would have to be identified as mine. I am thankfully leaving this relationship and moving on with the rest of my life as they say.
I sincerely hope you enjoy reading my articles. Stop by often as I'm constantly striving to add to my work. Take care and I hope you have a great day!

For Morgan, with Love The struggles you are facing I’d gladly bear for you To take away your pain There is nothing I would not do If only that I could You’d not have to shed a tear I’d keep your heart from breaking Take away everything you fear You are my very best of friends And it hurts me just to know You have been set upon this path But remember this as you go You will never be alone You will never leave my heart I will always hold you dear Even when we’re miles apart My ears will always listen My shoulder I will always lend This is a promise I make to you Becau...
