If your a new player or your significant other is involved in the sport or maybe you just like to watch it but never really know what there talking about. These are words that are useful and you might not know.

Icing - When the puck carrier shoots the puck untouched down the length of the ice starting behind the center or red line

Offsides - When a player enters the attacking zone before the puck and then touches it

Dekes- Also known among players as dangles referring to moves made to fake the opposing player many times involving putting the puck through their legs
