I enjoy writing light-hearted, mildly humorous how-to articles on a variety of topics including cooking, environmentally-friendly living and health &  fitness. I find fulfilllment in every part of the process of writing from choosing a topic to the editing. I  love animals, crafts, cooking, my husband, my cat and, of course, writing. I like shopping at second hand stores for unique clothing and household items and I enjoy growing my own vegetables and flowers. I also enjoy playing the flute and the piano. I love scrap-booking and making unique greeting cards for family and friends. My favorite  fiction authors are Robin Cook, and Mary Higgins Clark and my favorite non-fiction authors include Stormie Omartian and Philip Yancey. I enjoy outdoor activities such as walking, biking, tennis, and roller blading. New hobbies I've started recently are crocheting and furniture refinishing.

Rosacea is a long-lasting, non-scarring skin condition characterized by a flushing and redness of the face. Rosacea is three times more common in women than men and the average age of onset is between 20 to 40 years.

As Rosacea progresses, additional symptoms may develop including dilation of superficial blood vessels on the face, pustules(a small collection of pus in the top layer of the skin), small bumps, eye complications, and, in some advanced cases, a large, bulbous ruddy appearance of the nose.
