On the way home from taking my daughter to school this morning I was surprised to see that yet another lot of trees had been clear cut for yet another house built for no one in particular. I drove along the streets and took notice to all of the brand new homes in our community... each one bigger than the next. New cars in each of the driveways. Lovely patios lined with brand new furnishings. People buying more and more things to fill their homes and lives, looking for satisfaction, for meaning, for happiness. I was one of those people.
