Hello, my name is Wayne Clark. I am from Texas and I love to write. When I was in grade school, I loved to write short stories. It has always been a desire of mine to pursue this dream and I guess now is better than never.
I have been married for thirty two years to my wife Cindi. We have a daughter Mandi who is 19 and another daughter Brandi who is waiting on us in Heaven.
I love the outdoors, especially a place called Ryan's Lake. It is a beautiful area filled with Cypress, Oak, Pine, Gum and Iron Woods. It is bordered by the Neches River and holds many wonderful memories for me and my family. We love to fish, hunt, camp, and ride ATV's in this little bit of paradise. Brandi and I spent many an hour up and down the banks of the mighty Neches. Fish On Brandi! We will all be together again one day.
I love to write poetry, short stories, and information articles. I have been employed by the same company for thirty two years. I work in a department that supplies steam and water treatment for a wood siding operation.
I have not had any desire to write since Brandi went to Heaven. She and I shared the same desire to write and since she has been gone I have not wanted to put pen to paper, so to speak.
Recently I have felt the urge to get back to my dream and I know that will make her proud. We both had blogs and in her memory I have started writing in my blog again. I find peace and sadness when I write, yet I know that she would be upset if I did not do what I love so much.
Cindi and I have spent many hours in hospitals as both of our daughters were born with chronic illnesses. We have fought for our girls and we will continue to research new treatments that our doctors may not be aware of. We have learned that it is important to be part of the cure and not rely totally on the medical professionals. It is important for everyone to gain knowledge so that one can know the signs to watch out for that could save your life while in a hospital.
I look forward to the Helium opportunity and meeting many of you. Always follow your dream. Life is short, live each day like it is your last.
Thanks, Wayne Clark
