About me

I was born in the land of marshes and windmills. Although there are many places that can claim the same, none are more popular than Holland. I have lived in the United States most of my life and have a deep love for the English language. I am a conservative and a Christian, but have some tender-hearted liberal views, such as nationalizing health care. But I am not so naive to think that doing so is in the best interest of a free America. I am an aspiring novelist and love writing about everything else as well. A friend of mine and I were having a discussion the other day. It started out innocently enough, but he had to push his point. He was talking about a drive-in theater and it came up that I had never been to one. I guess he could tell that I had something against them and he asked me about it. I told him I never, ever want to go to one. His argument was simply that I couldn't know if I liked it or not unless I had been to one.
