After spending the past 19 years raising my amazing son, I am now ready to focus on myself and my own dreams again. I have been slowly getting back in touch with myself for the past couple of years and I have discoved that I really do still love writing, even though I haven't done much of it for about 17 years. It is getting easier now the more I do it. I have started writing a novel and have an idea for an entire series of books set in a fictional town somewhere in the midwest. I have started a garden journal and also am taking a children's writing class via online, so I have a lot of different types of writing going on now. I have a "day" job, working in cubicle-land 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, and am thankful for that. I am trying to learn to incorporate more creativity in my life because as I am getting older, I find myself yearning to be creative and natural and artistic. I love animals, gardening, reading, and cooking. I am trying to incorporate more activity in my life in the form of yoga and various types of dance, specifically bellydancing and tap dancing. I am interested in meditation, natural healing, travel and herbalism.
I hope that everyone enjoys my writing.
