Hi I'm John Allen (one of the most original names I know) and I am currently enrolled at the University of New England all the way up there in Maine. Actually I grew up right here in maine and have lived here my whole life. I was born in Portland and about ten years ago moved to a little town called Durham. I am currently attending school to become a High School math teacher and would love to get involved in the internation school program that is all over the world. Throughout their lives people of all ages should take an active role in their communities and the high school requirement encourages this to carry on beyond the high school years and into students' futures. Students participating in community service are many times recognized for their contribution of time and effort.
