About me

Hello, my name is Carol Shaw-Sutton and I live in beautiful North Carolina. I am a kindergarten teacher and write in my spare time (when I have the time!)

I really like Helium and it gives me the opportunity to express myself. I would tell anyone to join Helium and get some good writing experience in here. It's great!

My other hobbies besides writing would include gardening. I just *love* hybrid tea roses and old fashioned cabbage roses especially. I also have a one year old Yorkie named Taffy. :)

I can understand the fascination with designer watches up to a point. I used to have a Dior watch that I eventually sold on ebay because I needed money during college but it was hardly as expensive as some of these watches you see today plastered all over every single fashion magazine's pages. No, I do not believe that the price tags attached to watches are justified. These watches are nothing but a status symbol for the rich. They represent what the "have nots" cannot have, and therefore are tailor-made and marketed to those who want to show off their riches and put everyone else in line ...
