About me

Where to start?
I guess at the beginning.
I am that light under the proverbial bushel.
I have a gritty and hard life of my own making. I mind vomit into a blog, but the meaninglessness of it is akin to sex with strangers. Eventually you have to stop, or you will destroy yourself. So I have come to write for you, to have you know my skin as your own.
I am a long time, and ravenous reader. Devouring all that has been put into my hands. I have attacked and plundered the library of my small town, in a fashion that Genghis Khan would approve of.
I have been telling stories for just as long.
Lying in bed on steaming Florida nights, sweating and unable to sleep. Telling stories to my sister in her bed across the room, becoming so engrossed in the people, places and events I was describing that I wouldn't realize when she fell asleep.
In my adult life, I wandered about wondering what to do with myself. I wandered into a mire, sunk in it up to my neck, and when I emerged, I was carrying two children.
So goes life.
I promise to write things that will give you a new point of view. It has been both my blessing and my curse to easily put myself in others shoes. I am capable of stepping back and saying, if I were there, what would I do?
A warning:
I over use commas, as I cannot let the sentence go until the idea is finished.
I am an atrocious speller.
My grammar is seldom less than perfect.

I find I am much like a can of veggies at the supermarket, the dropped and dented can that most leave on the shelf. The dents on the exterior don't effect the nutritiousness of the food within.
Come, open the can and be nourished.
