By complete accident, but happily, I find myself here at Helium.
I bring to the page my varied experiences as a mother of three(and wife to my husband), an accountant and business woman, an athlete, an artist and now, a writer.
Most of my articles that you see here have been written to publisher specifications. You will see a wide variety of topics. I am most proud of those that required a good amount of research.
The subjects I am particularly drawn to surround health and fitness, perhaps because I've already done a lot of "life research" in these areas.
I especially believe that children and teens need sound fitness and nutrition advice from a variety of sources. To that end, elsewhere on the Internet I write more extensively on these topics, in simple terms appropriate for younger people.
I am pleased to discover that Helium's Marketplace publishers appreciate my writing. I always hope to deliver high quality articles with an authentic voice that represents both Helium and Marketplace publishers well.

After studying Asian and Mediterranean diets for decades, researchers now believe that a diet centered around plant based foods provides us with the most nutrients and energy. These cuisines still contain meats, eggs and dairy, but in smaller proportions than in most western diets. Instead, the concentration is on vegetables, fruits, whole grains, nuts and legumes.
