My fiance and I live in Upstate New york with our six children. We are searching for the perfect home to accommodate our large family. We spend our free time hiking, camping and traveling.

I began writing at an early age and have since won awards, published several poems and recently published two chapbooks of poetry.

I grew up in a home where being gay was normal. Many of my mother's friends were gay or lesbian and it wasn't until my adult life that I realized being gay was considered unacceptable in many avenues of life.

I kept my own sexuality a secret for most of my life, not fearing my mother's disapproval, but the disgust of my friends and society in general. Coming out seemed a violation of my privacy. I did not see the need to disclose my personal sexual preference to others. I wanted to introduce myself with my name, not my sexuality.
